Kokoda Property Group’s Teneriffe banks achieves $285 million in its first-day of sales, setting a new record in Queensland

Kokoda Property Group’s flagship development in Brisbane, Teneriffe Banks, has made a remarkable entrance to the market, achieving $285 million in sales from private appointments on its first day. This milestone marks the strongest single day of apartment sales in Queensland’s history.

Since the launch of its two buildings, The Interloom and The Skyform, on October 30, over half of the residences have already been sold. The expressions of interest phase, which commenced in August, generated significant anticipation, leading to 5,000 registrations and 600 secured appointments on release day, which filled up over three consecutive weeks.

The impressive sales figures reflect robust market confidence in Kokoda Property Group’s vision for Teneriffe Banks and demonstrate the appeal among discerning buyers seeking luxury living along the Brisbane River. This $1.5 billion mixed-use development is poised to redefine urban living in Brisbane, featuring five unique structures: The Interloom, The Ferry Building, The Store Houses, The Skyform, and Brisbane’s first 5-star luxury Kimpton Hotel.

Designed by Kokoda Property in collaboration with Studio McCue, Cottee Parker Architects, and Carr, Teneriffe Banks will offer over 200 residences, ranging from luxury apartments to modern penthouses and grand, woolstore-inspired lofts. Mark Stevens, Founder and Managing Director of Kokoda Property, expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic response.

“We are proud to set a new benchmark in Brisbane. The sales and level of interest in such a short period reinforce our belief that Teneriffe is ready for a development of this scale and sophistication, highlighting the city’s growing demand for luxury and innovation in urban living,” Stevens stated. “We are excited to bring our collective vision to life, creating a global destination for people to live, work, play, and rejuvenate.”

The Interloom building exemplifies a sculptural blend of modern living and natural beauty, showcasing subtropical modernism with innovative materials and design. Located on the Brisbane River, it connects the urban landscape to the waterfront, offering luxury residences of up to 404 square meters with soaring 3.8-meter ceilings and panoramic views.

Meanwhile, The Skyform building enhances Brisbane’s skyline, seamlessly bridging the ground and sky. Its spacious homes provide up to 334 square meters of luxury living, with 4-meter ceilings and breathtaking views of the river and city skyline. Expansive glazing reflects the skyscape and is complemented by warm materials and vertical greenery, embodying a vibrant vision for contemporary urban life.

Residents of Teneriffe Banks will enjoy an array of resort-style amenities. Each building will feature private dining rooms, personal wellness spaces, mineral baths, infinity pools, and exclusive access to the Canopy Club, one of the largest private members’ clubs in Queensland.

To cater to ongoing demand, Kokoda Property plans to release additional collections soon, with The Ferry Building set to hit the market next week. This building artfully merges Teneriffe’s historic woolstores with contemporary apartment design, creating a unique blend of heritage and modernity. The smaller scale of The Ferry Building allows it to complement surrounding architecture while providing residents with stylish, functional living spaces that respect the area’s rich history. Each home will include a large private courtyard, while higher floors will offer generous 3.8-meter ceilings and expansive terraces for entertaining.
